Connecting Ireland and China through heritage, tourism and trusted partnerships
ICCTA is a non-profit Sino-Irish cultural and tourism exchange platform. We support cultural activities, intangible heritage exchange, tourism promotion, city and institutional partnerships, delegation visits and FAM trips.
Culture and tourism as a practical bridge
Founded in 2015, the Ireland China Culture and Tourism Association promotes mutual understanding, people-to-people exchange and practical cooperation between Ireland and China.
Our work connects individuals, communities, businesses, schools and universities, tourism professionals and public institutions through real events, cultural travel, heritage showcases and long-term cooperation programmes.

Heritage exchange, tourism promotion and trusted local support
ICCTA creates settings where people can meet, learn, travel and build trust across Ireland and China.
Culture and heritage
We support Chinese New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival, St. Patrick's Day, intangible cultural heritage showcases and traditional craft exchange.
Tourism cooperation
We help shape destination campaigns, tourism information, city-branding partnerships and industry-facing opportunities for both markets.
Delegations and FAM trips
We support cultural exchange delegations, travel trade visits, familiarisation trips and programme coordination between Ireland and China.
Ireland and Northern Ireland local expertise
ICCTA has access to a curated guide and local expert network across Ireland and Northern Ireland. For delegations, FAM trips, group visits and tourism partners, we can help match the right local guides, bilingual support and cultural interpreters on request.

Mission-led, project-ready cooperation
ICCTA keeps a non-profit cultural purpose while creating practical routes for sustainable cooperation: guide matching, delegation support, FAM trip coordination, partner programmes, sponsorship, China-ready support and media visibility.
For partners
Destinations, attractions, hotels, cities and institutions can use ICCTA as a trusted cooperation gateway.
For visitors
Delegations and cultural travel groups can access local expertise, context and better reception support.
For programmes
Newsletter, events, tours, guide-network and cooperation pages all point back to long-term Sino-Irish cultural tourism exchange.
Irish intangible cultural heritage in China, 2025
ICCTA supported Irish cultural heritage exchange in Beijing through public presentation, private cultural networking, performer coordination and media storytelling.
This case shows how heritage, tourism and partner networks can be shaped into a practical cooperation format through ICCTA's independent non-profit cultural tourism platform.
- Irish harp, Uilleann pipes, Gaelic games and rural heritage storytelling.
- Public cultural presentation and partner-facing event preparation.
- Reusable material for future destination, delegation and sponsorship proposals.

Make each activity keep working after it ends
For institutions and commercial partners, a visit or event should create value beyond the day itself. ICCTA connects events, newsletters, news, case studies and video updates so cultural tourism activity can become permanent website links, seasonal updates and shareable stories.
- Events create public activity and partner touchpoints.
- Newsletters turn seasonal work into a professional publishing archive.
- Photo and video updates add visual context for cultural exchange, FAM trips and heritage stories.
